Hi there, I'm Anna! I help passionate creatives like you heal from chronic pain and other symptoms so you can reclaim your energy and live the creative life of your dreams.
I know this path because I've lived it: I'm a former film/TV editor and lifelong writer who struggled with chronic migraine for over 10 years.
Then I dove into mind-body healing, recovered from chronic migraine, became a licensed therapist and coach, and now I'm living a life that lights me up, spending half my time writing and creating content that matters to me and the other half helping folks like you find your own path out of the chronic cycle and into creative passion!
I view chronic symptoms as alarm signals that your nervous system fires off in response to chronic stress.
Stress can be caused by something physical, like a broken arm or a bacterial infection. But when symptoms are chronic, there are often underlying chronic emotional stressors like...
fear that we'll get in trouble for expressing our truth.
"imposter syndrome" yelling at us to doubt our creativity and worth.
perfectionism threatening us with stories of failure and rejection.
The bottom line: I'm not broken, and neither are you. Our bodies are just responding to the culture we were brought up in. A culture that has taught us to doubt our creative intuition and berate ourselves with criticism, creating an environment of chronic nervous system stress. Eventually, our bodies decided to protest with symptoms like tension and pain. When we learn to listen to our bodies and become their greatest allies, symptoms can begin to unwind!
